1628 was the year in which the Coat of Arms of Sebastiaen van de Graaff family (my grand, grand, grand etc. father of me: Carl) was captured in writing as noted in the Dutch Patriate. Sebastiaen van de Graaff was probably named after the archer Sebastiaen who grew out to be a Legend in the 3rd century AC.Since then we have had many Sebastiaens in the family upto these days. The day we started - May 1, 2011. Since then Carl Messemaeckers van de Graaff began with his team to create a new, classic, fair and at the same time elegant fashion brand. After many meetings, setbacks and windfalls as well as many liters coffee this is the result. We are proud on it and look forward to hear what you think of it. The first trip to our current producer, Rajlakshmi Cotton Mills in Kolkata India. Rajlakshmi is a Fairtrade producer only using 100% organic cotton. As a Fairtrade organisation Rajlakshmi does a lot for its personnel such as having normal working hours, pay health insurance for employees and their family members, pay for the schools of children of their employees, etc. This aligns with our vision - No Aid, But Trade with responsible partners. Ain't that nice? March 30th 2012 was the date of our first photoshoot. Location was the awesome Ruine van Brederode near Haarlem with a history going back to the year 1200. First stock was shipped from Kolkata India to Tilburg. 11.000 pieces, polo's, T-shirts and hoodies. All made of bio cotton, in several colors and customizable through our website. Essential short-sleeved T-shirt, cut for a trim, modern fit made from 100% Organic Cotton in several timeless colors. Create your own Sebastiaen T-shirt by choosing the color, the graphic and the color of the graphic. For T-Shirts we use transfers. Advise for men: choose the same color for graphic in front as on the back for a classic look, and differentiate for a brave look.

Our products proof that high quality can perfectly be accompanied with doing business in a fair and responsible manner. All our t-shirts, polo’s and hooded vests are made from 100% organic cotton. As no chemical pesticides and less fertilizer is used the cotton plant grows slowly and produces beautiful strong fibers. These cottons have a fine thread, which makes the cotton extra soft. This is not only better for the environment but also for your skin.
Our servers are powered with wind energy. Our CO2 use is compensated. In all we do, we consider the environment. That is also quality - quality of life!
